A major river of Belize, formed from the confluence of the Mopan and Macal rivers and emptying into the Caribbean Sea just north of Belize City.
According to NEMO river flood levels was observed to be increasing in the Belize District as the Mopan and Macal Rivers raise as they empty into the Belize River at Branch Mouth and coastal communities in the south. Source: Internet
