(informal) The Willie O'Dea affidavit incident, a 2010 political controversy in Ireland relating to remarks made by Minister for Defence Willie O'Dea about the alleged connection between a brothel and Sinn Féin politician Maurice Quinlivan. O'Dea falsely swore by affidavit that he had not made these remarks.
