Noun
Cheondoism (uncountable)
A 20th-century Korean religion, incorporating elements of shamanism, based on the 19th-century Donghak movement founded by Ch'oe Che-u and codified under Son Pyŏng-Hi.
In the early 1970s, he established his own cult, Yeongsegyo, literally “Eternal Life,” by combining tenets of Buddhism, Christianity and Korea’s indigenous Confucian-shamanist movement, Cheondoism. Source: Internet
