Deuterocanon
The books of the Old Testament which are part of the canon of Scripture of a given church but which are not found in the Hebrew Bible.
In practice, Jerome treated some books outside the Hebrew canon as if they were canonical, and the Western Church did not accept Jerome's definition of apocrypha, instead retaining the word's prior meaning (see: Deuterocanon ). Source: Internet
