An Indian oil lamp, usually made from clay, with a cotton wick dipped in ghee or vegetable oil.
One of his earliest film songs was a ghazal featured in Jis ne mere dil ko dard diya), but it was his playback singing for Mohammad Ali that allowed him to imprint his indelible mark on the history of Pakistani cinema. Source: Internet
