Fosse Way
An ancient Roman road in England, which stretched from Lincoln to Axminster, and possibly further to Exeter, many parts of which have been developed into modern roads.
It is located just off the Roman road known as the Fosse Way, and 8 miles (13 km) north of the important town of Corinium Dobunnorum (Cirencester). Source: Internet
