A district of Baghdad, Iraq: A fortified high-security district of Baghdad; established by the United States occupation force in the wake of the U.S.-Iraq War invasion of 2003; which contains major international hotels, international organizations and forces headquarters, Iraqi national ministries and government offices, and VIP residences.
