Griqualand
Various parts of South Africa where the Griqua people established communities, including Griqualand East (the area around Kokstad on KwaZulu-Natal's frontier with the Eastern Cape) and Griqualand West (the area around Kimberley).
Griqualand East was transferred to Natal Province after the Transkei was declared independent, since it was cut off from the rest of the province. Source: Internet
