Kingdom of Ireland
The Irish state under the English monarchs from its creation during the reign of King Henry VIII of England when he elevated Ireland from a lordship to a kingdom, to its abolition in 1801 under King George III, when it joined the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
