Machias Seal Island
An island in Grand Manan archipelago, at the boundary of Gulf of Maine and Bay of Fundy, is an island in the disputed Gray Zone, disputed waters between Canada and the United States of America. The island, containing a Canadian lighthouse, is claimed to be part of the province of New Brunswick and the state of Maine.
Both Arctic terns and common terns had been using Machias Seal Island as a breeding ground for at least 150 years. Source: Internet
