Maragoli
A dialect of the Luhya language of western Kenya.
Maragoli pl (plural only)
A subdivision of the Luhya tribe. The Maragoli speak Luragooli, a language belonging to the Luhya group and very similar to Luganda, Kikuyu, Gishu and several languages in Eastern, Central and Southern Africa.
Previously published in Kenya as The Stone Hills of Maragoli (Kwani? 2010), won the prestigious Jomo Kenyatta Prize for Literature. Source: Internet
