Noun
monolift (plural monolifts)
A weight rack on which the rest of the bar is levered away automatically or by a spotter so the (at heavy weights injury-risky) repositioning of the athlete’s legs for a squat (the walkout) or shoulders for a benchpress can be avoided for execution of the exercise.
Rogue Customer Service came through and gave me a bit of money back for the missing solder (I really only wanted to make sure it wouldn't affect the safety of the rack, so I appreciated the gesture) and replaced the monolift. Source: Internet
The monolift (in my opinion) is too heavy and awkward to want to move around the rack between exercises. Source: Internet
