Ocean Island
Former name of Banaba, Kiribati. Named by Captain Mertho in 1804 after his vessel, the Ocean.
But it re-imposed a 24-hour lockdown countrywide after a surge Friday of 46 new infections, the highest increase in a day on the Indian Ocean island. Source: Internet
