resolution advisory (plural resolution advisories)
(aviation) A TCAS warning directing the pilot of an aircraft to take immediate evasive action of a specified type (for instance: "INCREASE CLIMB, INCREASE CLIMB") to avoid a possible impending mid-air collision.
