A former village in Copeland borough, Cumbria, England, now the site of a nuclear reprocessing plant, formerly known as Windscale (OS grid ref NY0203).
BNFL and its subsidiary Sellafield Ltd (former British Nuclear Group), and ABB UK are based in Daresbury near Runcorn, although most of BNG's operations take place at Sellafield in Cumbria. Source: Internet
