Word of Wisdom
(Mormonism) The health code contained in the Doctrine and Covenants. It specifically prohibits the consumption of alcohol, tobacco, hot drinks (usually interpreted/construed as coffee and/or tea), and excessive amounts of meat.
It now notes that in addition to abstaining from tobacco, alcohol, tea and coffee, church members should note that “there are other harmful substances and practices that are not specified in the Word of Wisdom or by church leaders. Source: Internet
